Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 3 ounces shredded carrots
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ cup water
- 4 potato buns

Instructions:
- Cook the carrots and onions
- Add olive oil to the skillet and turn the heat to medium.
- Once the oil and pan is hot, add the carrot and onion and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients to the skillet and cook
- Mix in the ground beef, ketchup, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and water.
- Cook for about 8 minutes or until the beef is cooked through. As it cooks, break up the beef into smaller pieces and stir occasionally.
- Serve
- Remove mixture from the heat and serve open face on top of a potato bun.
